Guide
How do I tell customers where my food truck is?
Create a follo for your truck, put its QR code on the order window, and post a Today's location update whenever you move. Every customer who followed hears where you are in follo, and by email on paid plans, with no app to install.
Step by step
-
Create a Business follo
Title it with the truck's name.
-
Put the QR code on the truck
By the order window, on napkins and on receipts.
-
Customers follow while they wait
They scan, enter an email address, and they're in.
-
Post today's location
Choose Today's location, type the spot and send.
What the message looks like
Rosa's Tacos: today's location
Corner of 5th and Main until 2, then the brewery lot until 9.
Other ways, and when they're better
A group text
Better when the group is small and everyone already knows each other. It gets noisy fast and shares everyone's number with everyone.
An email list
Better for long newsletters with images and sections. It means sign-up forms, unsubscribes and a tool to run.
A social post
Better for reaching new people who don't know you yet. Followers only see it if the feed decides to show it.
What follo is
follo is a one-way notification service that lets people follow a person, business, product, event, group, property, waitlist, or other subject through a link or QR code and receive updates from its owner.
