For tour group drivers
Keep your tour group on schedule
Losing one passenger at a stop costs the whole group an hour. A follo lets you tell everyone the new pickup time in one message they'll actually see.
How it works for you
-
Create a Group follo for the tour
Title it with the tour and date, such as Coastal Day Tour, June 12.
-
Put the code on every seat
On the seat-back card and the welcome sheet.
-
Send the schedule as it changes
Pickup times, reminders and urgent changes.
Example messages
Coastal Day Tour: meeting change
Pickup after lunch is at 2:15 by the fountain, not 2:30.
Coastal Day Tour: reminder
Bring your ticket for the lighthouse; it's checked at the gate.
Coastal Day Tour: urgent announcement
The bus is at the north entrance because of road work.
Where the QR code goes
A card on every seat back and a line on the welcome sheet passengers get as they board.
Passengers scan it on the first leg and hear from you for the rest of the day.
Why one-way fits
A tour group needs one voice giving directions. One-way updates keep it that way, without a chat full of strangers or collecting phone numbers.
What follo is
follo is a one-way notification service that lets people follow a person, business, product, event, group, property, waitlist, or other subject through a link or QR code and receive updates from its owner.

Questions
Do passengers need data roaming?
They need some connection to receive updates, by Wi-Fi or mobile data.
Can I reuse one follo for every tour?
You can, though a follo per tour keeps last week's passengers from hearing this week's times.
Do passengers see each other's details?
No. Followers never see each other.
